Prayer Diary

Prayer for the Week:

Almighty God, your scriptures repeat these words “do not be afraid”, yet I so often am. You say “do not fear”, yet fear threatens to overtake me some days. So, I will place my trust in you, knowing you are by my side no matter what. You take hold of my right hand and whisper in my ear, “do not fear, do not be afraid”. For I know my help comes from you alone and you will strengthen me and protect me. Stay by my side and hold my handAmen.

HEBA:      St Peter’s Baptist Church

Mark and Zoe Elder/ Andy & Ruth Browning

Praise God for: Growing closer to God and as a church family as we engage with our new series of sermons on One Family; Also a wide variety of social events which will help us to grow together.

Please pray for: Our senior pastor, Rev. Mark Elder, as he begins his sabbatical. May it be a time of renewal and refreshment for him; Rev. Amy Wearing and her family, as she leaves us at the end of June. She will be taking up her new role as pastor of Upton Baptist Church. May this be a time of rich blessing for them all – although we will miss them; The church family. May they be willing to use their gifts and skills in God's service at this time of transition and give Rev. Andy Browning support and help as he leads us.
